New York Prime Timers is an intergenerational social organization for gay and bisexual men over 40 years of age and for younger men who appreciate them.
New York Prime Timers hosts events each month where mature men and their friends come together for various social activities - luncheons, concerts, art events, movies, museums, clothing-optional parties, and more. There is always a variety of events on our calendar where members can meet and mingle .
NEW YORK PRIME TIMERS SECOND SATURDAYS
New York Prime Timers hosts a casual social at the LGBT Community Center on the Second Saturday of each month. Gatherings are opportunities for mature gay and bisexual men to get to know each other. These events are open to members ($3) and non-members ($5).
September 14 2 p.m. at the LGBT Center, 208 West 13th St, west of Seventh Avenue.
We are happy to host Gil Cole, author, who will discuss and read from his gay erotic novel, "Fortune's Bastard."
After a nine year career in theater, Gil Cole practiced psychoanalysis for 30 years and taught at three psychoanalytic training institutes as well as lecturing at Union Theological Seminary. Since retiring in 2021, Gil returned to theater, appearing in several plays off-off Broadway shows , and developing his own one-man show which played at Theatre Row on 42nd St.
After his presentation, there well be time for our usual "meet and greet" session.
The LGBT Community Center, , is handicap accessible and is conveniently located near public transportation. The closest subway station is 14th Street at Seventh Avenue on the 1, 2, and 3 lines. The next closest is 14th Street at Eighth Avenue on the A, C, E, and L lines, which has elevators.

Monday, Sept 23, 2 p.m.
at MIRAJ, Persian restaurant, 120 East 34th St.
Pay for what you order. (One can eat well for under $23 including tax and tip.) This event is open to members and non-members.
If you wish to attend, you must contact Peter at afrere@myself.com before Sept. 21, so he can tell the restaurant how many people will be coming.

No organized outing is scheduled this month, however we are open to ideas, if any member wishes to propose an outing.
