Meet Like-minded mature men

New York Prime Timers is a social organization for gay and bisexual men over 40 years of age and for younger adult men who appreciate them.

New York Prime Timers hosts events each month where mature men and their friends can come together for various social activities - luncheons, concerts, theatrical events, art events, movies, museums, clothing-optional parties, and more. There is always a variety of events on our calendar where members can meet and mingle with mature gay and bisexual men.

Prime Timers Clothing-Optional Parties

New York Prime Timers will host our next clothing optional party in the Kips Bay area of midtown Manhattan on Sunday, October 3, from 5 to 9 p.m. Because this time it will be held in a private residence rather than in a hotel suite, this party will be limited to the first 20 NYPT vaccinated members who RSVP. Admission will be free of charge, but you must be a vaccinated member of our organization to attend. Please contact Marc at NYPT@gmx.com for more information. To become a member of New York Prime Timers and be eligible to attend this event, please refer to our Membership page.

Prime Timers at the Center

Meet our members and enjoy our varied programs. New York Prime Timers has resumed the long-running Second Saturday programs for older gay and bisexual men and their friends and admirers at the LGBT Community Center on the second Saturday of each month. The gatherings may host a presentation by a speaker, a seasonal theme or a topical event, and always end with a "meet-and-greet" for our members to socialize.

On Saturday, October 9 from 2 to 4  p.m., Bill Miller will present on "Floating Palaces: The Great Atlantic Liners." Bill has traveled on more than 450 ocean voyages, authored more than 100 books about ocean liners. and has lectured on modern-day cruise ships for more than 40 years. He will share the history of ocean liners and offer tips on how to select your next cruise.

As usual, we will end with a "meet-and-greet" for our members to socialize. Afterwards, several members will continue the gathering at a nearby diner.

Our social events at the Center happen on the second Saturday of each month at 2 p.m. Your financial contribution will help us pay the rental cost of the room. We suggest a minimum contribution of $3 for members and $5 for non-members.

The Center is handicap accessible and is conveniently located near public transportation at 208 West 13th Street, between Seventh and Eighth Avenues, in Manhattan.

Please also note the following.

  • The Center mandates that masks be worn at all times throughout the building.

  • The Center will not be checking temperature or conducting a health survey.

  • The Center is not requiring proof of vaccination for entry into the building.

While the Center is not asking for proof of vaccination, New York Prime Timers will be extra cautious for our initial indoor gatherings. We will ask you to present your proof of vaccination.
