Meet Like-minded mature men
New York Prime Timers is a social organization for gay and bisexual men over 40 years of age and for younger adult men who appreciate them.
New York Prime Timers hosts events each month where mature men and their friends can come together for various social activities - luncheons, concerts, theatrical events, art events, movies, museums, clothing-optional parties, and more. There is always a variety of events on our calendar where members can meet and mingle with mature gay and bisexual men.
Prime Timers in the Park
New York Prime Timers will host Prime Timers in the Park again for gay and bisexual mature men and their admirers on Sunday, June 20, at 2 p.m. We usually meet in Washington Square Park, but the bathrooms are closed for renovations, so we may need to move to another park for our Pride Month gathering. The location will be announced soon.
Prime Timers Hotel Party
New York Prime Timers has reserved a premium room in a four-star midtown hotel for Sunday, June 6. The party will start at 5 p.m. and end at 9 p.m. We will admit only those who show proof of double vaccination. Up-to-date dues-contributing members of New York Prime Timers will be asked to donate $20 and non-members $30 to help us cover the costs of the room, food, soft drinks, and party supplies. In order for the party to be financially feasible, however, we must have 15 people confirm their attendance in advance. Please RSVP to Marc at , and he will contact you three days before the event to reveal the location.
Normally, New York Prime Timers hosts Second Saturdays at New York City's LGBT Community Center on the second Saturday of each month at 2 p.m. Presently, the LGBT Community Center remains closed. Once the Center reopens, New York Prime Timers will resume its Second Saturday series with its general membership meet and greet.
The New York Prime Timers luncheons remain on hiatus. Eating together requires us to be in close proximity and remove our masks. We will resume our monthly luncheons when it seems safe to remove our masks together.
Our cultural outings to concerts and museums will resume in safer times.
We are considering (but not yet promising) the resumption of home and hotel parties in 2021 if all attendees have proof of vaccination and also agree to wear their masks whenever their mouths are not busy. This will happen only if the citywide infection rates diminish further.
