AT THE lgbt Community center
Meet our members, indulge in our refreshments, and enjoy our varied programs. New York Prime Timers hosts a Second Saturdays for older gay and bisexual men and their friends and admirers at the LGBT Community Center on the second Saturday of each month at 2 p.m. (except in July and August). The gatherings may host a presentation by a speaker, a seasonal theme or a topical event, and always end with a "meet-and-greet" for our members to socialize. Your financial contribution will help us pay the rental cost of the room; we suggest a minimum contribution of $3 for members and $5 for non-members.
The LGBT Community Center is handicap accessible and is conveniently located near public transportation at 208 West 13th Street, between Seventh and Eighth Avenues, in Manhattan.
Due to current health concerns, New York Prime Timers has suspended its next Second Saturday events. The LGBT Community Center remains closed and has not yet announced an opening date. Once the Center reopens, New York Prime Timers will resume its Second Saturday series with its general membership meet and greet.
New York Prime Timers luncheons, cultural outings, and clothing-optional hotel parties remain on hiatus and will resume on a monthly basis when it seems safe to do so.
We are collecting ideas for safe gatherings during this time. E-mail us your ideas!
