Prime Timers at the Center
Our long exile is over! On Saturday, September 18, at 2 p.m., New York Prime Timers will return to the LGBT Community Center at 208 W. 13th St., just west of Seventh Avenue. We will miss the trees and squirrels from our many wonderful park outings this past year, but the threat of rain and those long walks to the john are behind us!
Our September program will be by You, from You, and all about You. The theme will be Gay Male Eroticism. Please recall for us one of your most remarkable sexual experiences. Simply tell us about it! If this is too personal, please consider bringing something that someone else has written and read it aloud to us. We will conclude our gathering with our usual meet and greet.
After this September 18 event, all our social events at the Center will be on the second Saturday of each month at 2 p.m. Please also note the following.
The Center mandates that masks be worn at all times throughout the building.
The Center will not be checking temperature or conducting a health survey.
The Center is not requiring proof of vaccination for entry into the building.
While the Center is not asking for proof of vaccination, New York Prime Timers will be extra cautious for our first indoor gathering. We will require proof of vaccination for entry. Upon entry, members contribute $3, non-members $5 to help us offset the cost of the room rental.
New York Prime Timers Clothing-Optional Parties
New York Prime Timers will host our next clothing optional party on Sunday, October 3, from 5 to 9 p.m. Because this time the party will be held in a private residence rather than in a hotel suite, this party will be limited to 20 NYPT vaccinated members only. The invitations with details will be sent to our members two weeks in advance. To become a member of New York Prime Timers and receive this invitation, please refer to our Membership page.
New York Prime Timers Luncheons & Cultural Outings
The New York Prime Timers will resume monthly luncheons and cultural outings to concerts and museums in the fall of 2021. Details will be announced soon.
We are collecting ideas for safe indoor and outdoor outings. Please email us your ideas!
